Terms of Use
Effective November 4, 2026
Nicoff is made and run by Robin Choi, an individual developer ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the Nicoff app. By using Nicoff, you agree to them. They apply together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
1. What Nicoff does
Nicoff is a tool for logging and cutting down nicotine use (vapes, cigarettes, and nicotine pouches). It counts what you log, sets daily limits from your own logs if you choose a plan, and offers a craving timer. Nicoff does not guarantee any result, such as using less nicotine or quitting. Numbers shown in the app, such as nicotine amounts, money saved, and time-based estimates, are worked out from what you enter (for example, from your product labels) and are estimates.
2. Not medical advice
Nicoff is not a medical device, a treatment, or a substitute for advice from a doctor or other health professional. Information in the app, including the estimated nicotine in your body and the recovery timeline, is general information with its sources shown, not advice about your health. If you have symptoms, health concerns, or want help quitting, talk to a health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
3. Who can use Nicoff
Nicoff is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it.
4. Subscriptions
- Counting, your streak, widgets, today's numbers, and the craving timer are free. They stay free during and after any trial.
- Nicoff is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, purchased through your Apple Account. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- If a plan includes a free trial, you won't be charged during the trial. When the trial ends, you'll be charged the plan price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
5. Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We can't issue refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Your use of the app
Please don't misuse Nicoff, for example by trying to reverse-engineer it, interfere with how it works, or use it to break the law. Nicoff, its design, and its content belong to us.
7. No warranty and limits on liability
Nicoff is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be changed by agreement.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
